Gear Guide: Encore Pro Composite Pickleball Paddle

The Encore Pro Composite Paddle is USAPA approved and was developed by Engage Pickleball with input from nationally ranked players.

Dimensions: The paddle weighs between 7.8 to 8.4 ounces, allowing you to adjust the weight as you see fit. It has a width of 8” and an overall length of 15-1/4”. The handle measures 4-3/4” in length, with a medium grip to fit almost all hand sizes.

Sweet Spot: The sweet spot is a very important area on a pickleball paddle and the Encore Pro has the largest sweet spot in all encore line paddles.

Spine and Control: The polymer honeycomb core and fiberglass layers give it the extra toughness that you need to make each shot with phenomenal control and feel. The ‘Encore Pro’ maintains the ‘specialized skin’ of the legacy Encore that maximizes the allowed limits of ‘surface roughness’. However, ‘surface roughness’ is only ONE piece of the puzzle. Designing a paddle from the very beginning to have the ‘skin’ work in conjunction with the ‘core’ (harmonized) optimizing ‘POWER’, ‘CONTROL’ and ‘BALL PLACEMENT’ completes the puzzle.

Tournament Play: This paddle is recommended and used by three of the national champions of pickleball:  Brian Staub, Marcin Rozpedski, and Phil Bagley, all three of these champions play with the Encore pro occasionally in important national tournaments.

The Encore Pro Composite Pickleball Paddle was developed by Engage Pickleball, the leading Pickleball Manufacturer in the United States. Engage Pickleball’s paddles are used by the best players and instructors in the game. Each paddle is designed and known to be the most innovative and best-performing paddles using ingenuity and creativity to give players an advantage over their opponents.
